RESIDENTIAL SNOW-CLEARING SERVICE

Residential Customer Snow-Clearing Service Periods: Priority contracts run for 5 months (DEC 1st - April 30st)

Residential Customer Snow-Clearing Service before December 1st or after April 30th is available and is billed per visit. If you wish to receive snow clearing service outside our regular service periods, then please be sure to accept line item on estimate, or proceed afterwards by contacting our office directly to make the changes and provide up-to-date pricing

- We begin our routes once the snowfall accumulation is 1 inch or more.

- During excessive snowfall, multiple visits will be made to keep your property clear.

- Our teams operate between 4:00 AM and 4:00 PM, 7 days a week.

- If the snow begins after 3:00 PM, we will start our route at 4:00 AM the following morning to ensure the safety of our operators.

With the priority snow clearing option, you get to specify a time you wish to be serviced by each morning,

We refer to these as “out times”.

Please ensure this portion is filled out at the bottom of the first page so we can schedule you accordingly.

Extreme and unsafe conditions may result in some delays during early morning visits. We may partially clear your property. Following this first round, we will complete a follow-up lap to ensure all properties are cleared completely to the Snow & Mow Standards. 

Our business line operates from 800AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES (PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL OUR OFFICE TO BOOK THIS SERVICE AS NEEDED IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD THESE SERVICES AFTER THE ESTIMATE HAS BEEN ACCEPTED) 

Snow Removal Service: In the event of significant snow build-up/deposits, we offer a snow removal service with a tractor & trailer, which is charged at a rate of $100.00 per hour and $100.00 per trailer load.

Additional shovelling may be booked by request (Patios, Propane Tanks, & Extra Pathways). This service is charged at $50.00 Per Hour Per Man with a one-hour minimum. 

BILLING & PAYMENTS:  

Snow Clearing Contracts run from December 1st to April 30th and are billed monthly, on or before the period start date

(I.E. Dec 1 - April 15 to be invoiced on or before Dec 1).

Payment can be provided via email transfer (EMT) to office@snowandmow.org or by cheque to 55 White Rose Drive, St. John's, NL, A1A 5G9.

If sending an email transfer, please use the standard pass work “snowandmow”.

Please avoid giving payment directly to our snow-clearing teams.

If paying by credit over the phone or by applying a credit card to the file, a 3.5% processing fee will be charged.

If payment is not made within 30 days, we reserve the right to terminate your service. The company reserves the right to cancel this service at any time by providing 30 days' written notice.

 

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS AGAINST SNOW & MOW INC.: 

EACH OF THE CUSTOMERS, OWNERS, AND THE BILLING ADDRESSEES (HEREINAFTER CUSTOMERS) ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THEY ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISK OF INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY THAT MAY ARISE OUT OF SNOW & MOW'S PROVISION OF SERVICES.

CUSTOMERS HEREBY WAIVE ALL CLAIMS AGAINST SNOW & MOW ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO SUCH INJURIES OR DAMAGES.

EACH OF THE CUSTOMERS, THEIR HEIRS, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND ASSIGNS HEREBY FOREVER RELEASE SNOW & MOW AND THEIR INSURERS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, OR ACTIONS ARISING OUT OF ANY LOSS, INJURY, HARM OR DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY SUFFERED BY THE CUSTOMERS. INCLUDING ANY SUCH LOSS, INJURY, HARM OR DAMAGE THAT MAY ARISE AS A RESULT OF THE NEGLIGENCE OF SNOW & MOW OR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, WORKERS, AGENTS, OR ASSIGNS.
