 Customer Service and Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for customer service, the ability to solve issues quickly, feel confident to act as the go-between for our clients and the ability to keep the company’s day to day operation organized efficiently. You will play a vital role in the smooth running of the business and must have exceptional attention to detail. You are able to manage your workflow independently and have a good understanding of the financial demands of a small start-up business. 

 

Customer Service & Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Manage all customer accounts, including quotes, procurement, billing and collections. 

  • Maintain a prompt, positive, empathetic and professional relationship with our customers at all times. 

  • Liaise with our employees to manage expectations and customer issues.

  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s services, pricing & procedures. 

  • Complete general organizational tasks and data entry as required. 

  • Provide accurate payroll services & assist with the administration of new hires.

  • Assist with remittances, expenses, payments and cash flow. 

 

Occasionally, new tasks may be added and/or altered, the ability to adapt to the needs of the company is essential to this role.

 

Experience in these areas would be considered an asset:

  • Customer Service

  • Phone and email etiquette

  • Office Administration

  • Simply/Sage Accounting Software & Payroll

  • Online Banking & Square Payment Software 

  • Gmail, Google Drive, Docs & Sheets

  • Microsoft Office

 

Full-time permanent position, salary depending on experience.
